Every single Legislative Priority we fight for starts the same way - with the grassroots. This past weekend, Texans showed up at their county conventions and brought forward the ideas that matter the most in their communities. Those ideas become resolutions. Next stop for the resolutions is the State Convention. That’s where delegates from across Texas will debate them, refine them, and decide what becomes our official Legislative Priorities. Last session, 43 Republican priorities were passed into law - a state record. Every single one started as a precinct-level resolution. That’s not top-down leadership. That’s regular, grassroots Texans shaping the direction of this state. Now we carry that momentum forward. See you at State Convention.

I’m grateful to have the support of our SREC members in SD 8 - Maggie Whitt and Jim Pikl. Maggie and Jim have been consistent voices for the grassroots and strong advocates for their district. Their leadership and commitment to this party are exactly what keep us moving in the right direction. SD 8 is standing together - and that kind of unity builds strength across Texas. We’ve made significant progress, and with leaders like Maggie and Jim alongside us, we’re going to keep pushing forward and delivering results.

I want to give my sincere thanks to all of our county chairs across Texas for an outstanding weekend! What we saw wasn’t by chance - it was the result of strong leadership at the local level. ✅ Successful conventions. ✅ Great turnout. ✅ And real excitement about what’s ahead. I’ve heard from counties all across our state, and the message has been crystal clear - Texas Republicans are fully engaged and ready for what’s next. That’s how you build a strong party. I’m grateful for each of you, and I’m looking forward to carrying this momentum into State Convention in June.

This verse is a powerful reminder that faith isn’t just something we believe, but it’s something we carry with us every single day. When we are grounded in that truth, it will shape how we lead, how we serve, and how we treat others. And, in a world that can feel uncertain, there is real peace in knowing that our foundation doesn’t change. This is one of the most important steps in how our party makes decisions and sets priorities - and it only works when people show up. Our party is strongest when it reflects the voices of Texans from every county, every community, and every corner of this state.
